I am involved in various industries and have had the opportunity to meet many people. It is always heartwarming to receive compliments about my appearance or personality. People often tell me that I look great or that they find me beautiful. My own mother even goes so far as to say that my face is radiant. While this may boost my confidence, I am always mindful of the fact that I have been praying for decades, almost every day, asking the Lord to let His face shine upon me.
This prayer has become a part of my daily meditation, as I lift my face towards the sky, believing that the Lord has indeed answered my prayers. In Numbers 6:24-26, it is written, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
This beautiful scripture reminds me that true beauty and radiance come from within, and it is the Lord’s favor and grace that truly shines upon us. It is not just about physical appearance, but about the inner peace and contentment that comes from knowing that we are loved and blessed by the Lord.
So, while it is nice to receive compliments and be appreciated for our external qualities, I always remember that the true source of our beauty and radiance lies in our connection with the divine. I will continue to seek the Lord’s face and strive to reflect His love and grace in everything I do.
