Giving Back to Malaysia Through Music

I have produced several songs in Bahasa Malaysia even before this song.

Some people are surprised and ask how I am able to sing in Malay. What many do not know is that Malaysia has been part of my journey for many years.

Before studying there, I visited Malaysia several times. Later, I lived there for a few years as a student. During that season of my life, friends gave me Malay worship songs on cassette tapes. I remember listening to them over and over again. I couldn’t stop. The melodies, the sincerity, the gentle yet powerful way Malaysians worship deeply touched my heart.

Their music ministered to me in a special way.

I fell in love not only with the language, but with the spirit behind the songs — the humility, the devotion, the warmth.

So singing in Bahasa Malaysia is not something new for me. It has been part of my musical journey long before this recent release.

Now, I simply continue what began years ago — offering worship in a language that once ministered to my own soul.

Now it is my turn to give back to Malaysia — to offer worship in the same language that once strengthened me. Through these songs, I want to bless the people who once blessed me.

Music has no borders.

Gratitude has no language barrier.

And worship belongs to every nation.

Through these songs, I hope to extend the reach of worship beyond borders and give back to the nation that once gave so much to me.
